Sinead
Goddess of Creation and Peace
The ascending to a Demi Goddess of Light: (By Sinead and Dreanna.)
Sinead was able to do step one of the process to having the transformation done. She cleared her mind of all thoughts, though worry was slightly there, everything else faded from her mind. It was the only emotion left in her at the moment. The light gave a glow surrounding her body.
Bare feet lightly slapped against the ground as she made her way towards the spring. It was far from normal, crystal clear, beautiful, and pure. Slipping from the light dress she stood before the water, staring down at her reflection.
Her body lowered into the water, sinking her head under the smooth surface. Only one breath of air was taken before she could feel a tingling sensation all over her unprotected body. She saw nothing, for her eyes were closed. None came around here unless for a deep purpose, she was safe. Plus she knew the light would protect her.
She gasped for air, nearly forgetting that she needed air as every mistake she made washed off her body. Physically and mentally. Her heart was pure as it was, but this made it so much more... real. Her hands cupped the water in her hand, watching the drop of water slip down her cheek and back into the water. Naturally, everything that fell from her, was released into the air away from the water.
She felt like she could see it all rise into the sky. Impossible, yes, but she was allow to have an imagination. Step two was now finished, and her body lifted from the water. She wrapped herself in the robe she wore two seconds ago, still letting the water fall onto the ground she walked as she made her way back to the temple.

By the time she got back, as she wished to walk slow and make sure she was ready, most of the water was dried on her pale skin. Her dark locks hung around her shoulders as she followed the presence of Dreanna into the room where it would all take place.
A smile was given to Dreanna, but nothing more was said unless she was asked a question. Sunshine hues flickered at everything around her, taking in a deep breath before taking her place before the goddess. This was the gift of a life time, and she was ready.
She was both thankful and ready.
Deep inside her she knew she had the power to get through this. Her fist clenched tightly. She was trying to give herself strength to continue on. Mentally she was ready, but physically. No. Sinead would have no doubts in herself. The light would be there to guide her no matter what.
Dreanna reached out to take Sinead's hand gently, making sure to move slowly and give supportive touches to ease her fears away. She was guided to sit on the bed, and put her hand out over the bowl of purified water. The ritual knife was lifted and Dreanna melted away into her half-goddess form, knowing that without the necklace, Sinead would struggle in the presence of Dreanna's full form. Blue-purple hair fell down around her as she lifted the knife and turned Sinead's hand palm up.
"Ready?" she said with a youthful smile. The tip of the blade was cut down Sinead's palm, and then across it, to form a cross. This was repeated on her other hand. Dreanna then did the same to her own hands, her blood was like liquid silver, both in color and texture as it came to the surface. Their hands were pressed together so that the wounds mixed. "Blood to blood, I accept you, and welcome you into my bloodline, though not in birthright, you'll be my daughter in blood."
Their hands parted, the silver staying on Sinead's hands and sealing her wounds as Dreanna's disappeared as well. A goblet was then handed to her... a silver liquid. "Think of it was wine, and it'll be easier," she said to guide her to drink. She would need to swallow every drop. If she succeeded at this, Sinead would then be guided back on the bed.
Dreanna reached down and put her hand over the top of Sinead's forhead. An angelic language was spoken first, making the room take on a white glow despite the orange flames. For about ten minutes she continued this, until the language switched to that which only the Gods spoke when together. As this occured, the light in the room faded and the candles extinguished, casting the room into darkness except for the glow of Dreanna's purple aura.
When the last word came to her lips, she looked down at Sinead and put her finger to her lips, "Shh. Sleep now. From this point forward is your journey. It will not be without pain, or confusion. You'll question your own heart, and face demons of your past. You must get through this in order to re-awaken. How long that takes depends on your determination. You'll be taken care of while you are out, and I'll watch over your daughter from the heavens as well. Be well... my child."
Sinead watched as her red blood dripped down the pam of her hand, connecting to the hand of Dreanna's. It was tingling the moment they touched, though she thought it was because of the extra steps made before the transactions, that it did not hurt.
Lifting her gaze up to Dreanna she smiled. This was not where she would suffer, not yet. Wrapping slender fingers around the goblet, her lips touched the rim of the cup, feeling the liquid slide down her throat. There was s slight burning feeling, but nothing more than that of drinking rum. Her eyes shut tight as she finished it off and placed it back down. Sinead allowed Dreanna to lead her to the bed where she laid. She smiled one more time to Dreanna at her words.
"I look forward to seeing you after this is over." Shutting her eyes slowly, feeling that of warmth grow over her body. It was not painful, which slightly confused Sinead just a little bit. It took much effort to keep her mind shut from any emotion that would ruin such an event. She could die if this didn't turn out right, but she wouldn't. She was NOT weak like everyone thought she was.
And so it began.
The warming feeling soon grew into what felt like a burning sensation. A sudden gasp for air was made and she knew this was what was suppose to happen. The pain, the suffering, how she feared it but the presence of Dreanna kept her calm.
For now.
Sinead knew she could feel her there, but it was hard. The quests done as a high priestess were nothing like the feeling that was running through her this very moment. Her back arched in pain while a scream left her lips. She almost wished to cry for Dreanna to stop, however something, not sure what, but something refused to let her speak anything at all but the violet screams of her. The pain would be worth it, ver much so worth it. All the years she served for the light, and now Sinead was Dreannas daughter by blood. Or would be soon.
She could see nothing, not even the light as her eyes were sealed shut. Her mind raced with her past, the girl born Eruraina Sinead Bliselle, to the woman Sinead Bliss. The family that suffered as their parents died when they were young, though Sinead some how made it through. One memory was odd though. She didn't remember it, or most of it. Since her mind was wiped by her husband, the birth of her one and only Daughter never was able to be gained back. But here she was, living that tale once more, though to her it was like the first time. Tears streamed down the elf's cheek as pained was numbed only for a second.
The happy life with her daughter when she herself was sixteen years old was fun to watch. That all seemed to fade. A regret Sinead made while growing up was her need to serve the light. She watched as her husband washed away her memory of her daughter and sent her off to live her dream for the temple. It was that moment everything went black. Why, she did not know, but it then continued onto her life serving as high priestess, seeing her daughter nine years later, and all the rest of the memories that didn't have to go into detail.
She thought that it was over then, but it was far from. Pain shot back up through her once again, just as she was finished going through her once mortal life. The once dulled screams escaped her once more. If she was able to hear herself, she would have hoped none in the temple heard her crying in pain. None knew of her choice, only Dreanna. It was how she wanted it, though others would feel that the temple lacked a high priest at the very moment.
Sinead was too busy going through the pain and her memories to care what others were thinking of the screams through the temple halls. It was Rosalie that was on her mind in this very moment, for she finally understood why her daughter was always so upset with her, and her life with in the temple. Guilt crossed over her, which increased the pain. ~No!~ A voice, that was neither male nor female called out to her. It was soothing in a way, though only to her ears. ~Keep you mind clear~ It warned her.
She listened to the voice, begging for it to speak again, to distract her from the pain. It was as though it read her mind. ~You need the pain. Pain lets you know you are still alive. It will be gone soon, do not worry, Eruraina .~ Her fists clenched. She was no longer that.. child. She was Sinead now, and had been that way since she was tweleve and the death of her parents. ~Very well. Sinead then~ It corrected, and though nothing was there, a smile was heard in it's voice.
She was, of course, still young, so physically she did not change much. A glow rushed to her body, one that was not seen by many. It matched the glow that of a pregnant woman. The stress was being pulled away from her face that lingered there recently. She was changing, getting closer to the end, she could feel it as the pain was starting to dull down, though whimpers still pressed through parted lips. Dreanna be with her.
Sinead's beating heart began to slow. Was she dying? The pain was starting to become numbness now, and fear was clearly written on her face. She was not going to give up, for how far she had went through, all this pain, for nothing? This was not just for her, but to better herself to help others. Even gaining power, she was still selfless. It was in that moment the mortal side of Sinead died.
Her body curl up into a ball. Whether she herself was feeling it, or she was looking down on herself, she did not know. This feeling was weird, but she was glad most of the pain was over. Screams was finished at that moment. And she could hear the whispers of healers standing by her side. She wanted to be left alone though, she made it clear when a light force slightly pushed them all away. It was done, she was safe, alive, and now a demi-goddess. A cringe could be seen. It was something she never thought she would gain in her life.
"I am proud of your strength Sinead. May you go and explore the word to see it through new eyes. Return to me if that is still your desire once you have found your heart. You are still welcome and wanted amongst my staff and within my temple." the words didn't need to be said, but were regardless. Wherever Sinead was, she'd be able to hear them.
It was done. The ex-High Priestess had survived her trials, and would be set upon the world in a new Light. Only she could determine her destiny now.
